After the success of the first World Book Night in 2011, organisers have announced the date for the next event - 23rd April 2012 - and the final list of 25 books that will be given away. Organisers are also pleased to announce that for 2012, World Book Night will be celebrated in both the USA and the UK.
In the UK, the organisers are looking for 20,000 volunteers, who will each distribute 24 copies of their chosen books to 'non or light readers' on the night of the 23rd April 2012, with the aim of getting more people reading.
