A nationwide bus tour is underway to bring support to people starting up a new business or wishing to extend their business. StartUp Britain is a campaign that began in 2011 to encourage and inspire entrepreneurs in the UK by providing the necessary support and information to help them on their journey through a new business.
The bus tour is just one part of the campaign, allowing people to get close to the information by visiting the bus at one of the 25 locations. It all kicked off on 22nd June at Canary Wharf and ends on 7th August at Inverness with major city visits in between.
To keep ahead of the information for your chosen city you can even register your interest for free on Eventbrite and receive updates. Information on where exactly the bus stops in your city is available on the StartUp Britain website. You can find out what happens on board such as what support organisations will be there. You can even visit as a supporting entrepreneur yourself to offer support and guidance to others. There's also the chance to enter a prize draw to win a little something to help you with your business credentials. It's not too late - with 13 more cities to tour, StartUp Britain could be just what your business needs to get off the ground.
