Established in 1949, Swanwick Writers' Summer School exists to give all writers, regardless of experience levels, an opportunity to learn from expert tutors and excellent speakers in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Over 300 delegates return to the summer school year after year, both to build and renew their writing skills and their friendships with fellow writers.
This year the school is running between the 13th and 19th August 2011, and there are still some places available...if you book quickly! The week's programme is split into speakers, specialist courses, courses and workshops. Speakers for 2011 include; Iain Banks, Kate Mosse, Peter James and Meg Davis.
