Amazon has launched ‘CreateSpace’ its self-publishing platform. CreateSpace has been running in America since 2007. It will now be available to authors in Europe to self-publish their work.

Amazon take twenty percent of the sale price and a fixed charge depending on the book format. But they have said that authors could earn leading royalties.

Marketing Director of CreateSpace, Libby Johnson McKee has said; “Using CreateSpace enables UK authors to make their books available to millions of customers in Europe and the US, unlocking the potential to increase their revenue. “ (Writers’ Forum, Aug 12)
